Prep Cook

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all dishes meet our standards for taste and presentation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent multitasking skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare various menu items including pizzas, subs, salads, and other food offerings according to recipes and quality standards.
• Tend to pizza ovens and other cooking equipment to ensure proper cooking and safety procedures are followed.
• Support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness and organization of workstations.
• Contribute to a positive customer experience by ensuring timely and accurate food preparation in a busy environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.

Skills

• Prior experience in food preparation or kitchen work is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities during busy service times.

Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
