• Assist with food preparation tasks such as marinating, assembling, and portioning ingredients for service.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, mixers, slicers, and cooking appliances.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
• Follow recipe adherence and portion control guidelines to maintain consistency across dishes.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate prep activities and ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Experience

• Previous experience is required.
• Demonstrated food preparation and cooking skills within a restaurant or food service environment.
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and safety standards in production environments.
• Familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Experience with recipe adherence, and meal preparation processes.
• Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques for various ingredients.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and support team efforts.
