Prep Cook / Line Cook

Palm Thai Bistro is looking for a reliable Prep Cook / Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys preparing fresh ingredients, staying organized, and working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. During service, you'll also support the line by preparing appetizers and assisting the kitchen team.

Pay: $18–$21 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-time or Part-time, Morning Shift

What You'll Do:

• Assist with daily prep work, including cutting meats and vegetables
• Follow recipes, portion standards, and kitchen procedures
• Maintain freshness and properly rotate ingredients
• Operate the hot appetizer station, including grilling and frying
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and safe
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Work efficiently with the kitchen team during busy hours
• Assist with inventory and help track food supplies

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 1 year of cooking experience
• Available to work on weekends and holidays
• Reliable, professional, and organized
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to work on your feet for most of the day and lift 60 pounds at a time
