Prep + Line Cook

We’re a busy Mediterranean small plates lounge looking for a solid Prep + Line Cook to join our kitchen team.

We care about great food, clean execution, and having a kitchen that actually runs well. We’re looking for someone who is organized, reliable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in what they put on the plate.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Daily prep including vegetables, proteins, sauces, dips, garnishes, and other menu components
• Working the line and executing dishes consistently during service
• Following recipes, portions, plating standards, and prep lists
• Keeping your station clean, stocked, and ready to go
• Properly labeling, dating, rotating, and storing food
• Maintaining food safety and sanitation standards at all times
• Helping with opening, closing, cleaning, and kitchen side work
• Communicating with the rest of the kitchen and jumping in when someone needs a hand
• Keeping an eye on prep levels and letting the team know before something becomes a problem

Who We’re Looking For

• Reliable — if you’re scheduled, we need you there and ready to work
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working at a fast pace without getting sloppy
• Takes cleanliness and food safety seriously
• Able to follow recipes and direction while still thinking for yourself
• Works well with a team and brings a good attitude to the kitchen
• Previous kitchen experience preferred
• Mediterranean experience is a plus, but definitely not required

We’re not looking for someone who just wants to punch a clock. We want someone who takes pride in their station, cares about the food going out, and wants to be part of a kitchen that does things the right way.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Projected Total Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
