About the Role:

Cajuns Fabulous Fried Chicken Inc is looking for a motivated and hardworking Prep Person to join our buffet team in Gulfport, MS! This is a great opportunity to be part of a fast-paced kitchen environment where great food and great energy come together. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and portion food items for daily buffet service according to recipes and standards
• Wash, chop, and season ingredients to support kitchen production needs
• Stock and replenish buffet stations throughout service hours
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary prep area at all times
• Follow proper food handling, storage, and labeling procedures
• Assist kitchen staff with cooking and plating as needed
• Monitor food levels and communicate with team to prevent shortages during service

Requirements:

• Prior food prep, kitchen, or buffet experience preferred but not required
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Ability to follow directions and work efficiently under pressure
• Food handler's certification or willingness to obtain one
