Limelite Lighting is a Technical Production Company, specialising in lighting, rigging and power for television, events and theatre.

We are currently recruiting for the position of Prep Technician for our Moving Lights and Technology Department at our HQ in Marden.

Job Role

What you’ll be doing

• Checking, cleaning and preparing lighting equipment before it goes out on hire.

• Helping set up and check control equipment and network equipment used with lighting systems.

• Ensuring all department equipment is maintained to a high standard ahead of our hires and events.

• Helping to ensure the warehouse remains efficient, safe and organised.

-Working with experienced colleagues and building your technical skills over time.

Who we’re looking for

This position is open to applicants who are looking to start their career, changing direction or looking for a practical job with room to develop. Previous lighting or event experience is welcome, but it isn’t essential. We will consider people from a range of backgrounds.

-A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

-A practical and methodical approach with good attention to detail.

-Reliability, a good work ethic and a willingness to help the wider team.

-Comfort working with equipment and following safety instructions.

You don’t need to know all the equipment or systems when you start. Training and support will help you build your knowledge. The salary offered will reflect the skills and experience you bring.

We’re looking for someone who can slot straight into our team with ease and hit the ground running. Therefore, you must be personable, hardworking, enthusiastic, and methodical.

Working hours

Normal working hours are 8am to 5pm. However, the nature of the industry often dictates irregular working hours.
