Prep/Grill Cook

Job Summary

Macros Healthy Restaurant is looking for a part-time Grill & Prep Cook at our growing restaurant. In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing our operation to start the day, following company recipes, handling fresh cut product, and managing our kitchen.

Knife skills and grill experience is preferred. Knowledge of how to properly wash and handle produce is required for this role.

Pay

$20.00/HR plus tips

Responsibilities

• Grilling, basic food preparation, and ensuring proper food safety procedures are followed
• Prepare food items such as marinades, vegetable recipes, protein recipes
• Maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
• Assist in menu planning by suggesting innovative ideas and ensuring adherence to culinary standards.
• Support staff during busy periods by managing order flow and customer needs effectively

Skills

• Ability to work in a team environment
• Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols
• Experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments
• Strong customer service skills
• Positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
• Grilling experience is highly desirable; Customer service experience is a plus

Business Hours

M-F: 10:30am - 8:00pm

Saturday: 10:00am - 7:00pm

Sunday: Closed

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
