About the Role

As a Bodyshop Prepper / Panel Beater, you will play a key part in ensuring vehicles are prepared, repaired, and finished to the highest standards. You’ll work closely with painters and other workshop staff to deliver exceptional results efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out high‑quality panel repairs and minor bodywork
• Prepare surfaces through sanding, grinding, degreasing, and cleaning
• Mask vehicles accurately and apply primer to prepared surfaces
• Inspect panels for imperfections such as dents, scratches, and inconsistencies
• Perform polishing and finishing to achieve a flawless final result
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment
• Follow manufacturer repair guidelines and meet deadlines efficiently

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Bodyshop Prepper or Panel Beater is essential
• Strong technical knowledge of sanding tools, fillers, primers, and prep processes
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high‑quality work
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate with colleagues and management
• Full, valid UK driving licence

Pay: £35,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
