Consolidated Solutions is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Prepress Lead to help coordinate prepress production and prepare accurate, print-ready files. This hands-on role combines technical expertise with team support, quality control, and workflow coordination to ensure projects meet client specifications and deadlines.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate prepress workflow. Work with production leadership to prioritize jobs, monitor progress, and meet client deadlines.
• Prepare files for production. Perform file transfers, retouching, image assembly, page assembly, impositions, signature layouts, and platemaking.
• Support wide format and packaging projects. Prepare and verify files according to job specifications and production requirements.
• Maintain quality standards. Review files and proofs carefully, complete required quality-control checks, and resolve issues before releasing work to production.
• Guide and support the team. Answer technical questions, assist with troubleshooting, and help train coworkers on procedures and quality expectations.
• Collaborate across departments. Work with sales, production, coworkers, and clients to clarify requirements, resolve file concerns, and keep projects moving.
• Communicate proactively. Identify missing information, file issues, or scheduling concerns that could affect quality or delivery.
• Improve processes. Help establish consistent practices that reduce errors, prevent rework, and improve efficiency.

What You’ll Bring

• Two to three years of recent experience using XMF, Prinergy, or a similar prepress workflow system.
• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign and Illustrator.
• Experience performing prepress functions for wide format printing and/or packaging.
• Experience with all page assembly functions, including impositions and signature layouts.
• Ability to perform file transfers, retouching, image assembly, impositions, and platemaking.
• Exceptional attention to detail and consistent follow-through on quality-control checks.
• Ability to maintain high quality while meeting client deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with sales, coworkers, and clients.
• Ability to provide clear direction and help teammates solve production challenges.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, excellent attendance, and commitment to teamwork.

Schedule Expectations

Some overtime and/or weekend work will be required to meet production schedules and client needs.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
