Prepress Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Prepress Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing digital files to ensure high-quality production runs. Your expertise will help streamline the printing process, minimize errors, and maintain the efficiency of our prepress operations. Responsibilities

• Prepare digital files for printing by checking for errors, color accuracy, and proper formatting
• Operate prepress equipment such as digital printers, large format printer and finishing tools with precision
• Conduct mechanical inspections of printing and packaging machinery to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize workflows
• Maintain detailed records of prepress processes, machine maintenance, and quality checks

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on printing equipment and machinery
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes related to printing, packaging, and machining
• Ability to communicate with clients and suppliers on their specifications, and read digital files accurately
• Familiarity with packaging procedures and quality control standards in a production environment
