Prepress Supervisor

Job Summary

The GD Supervisor is responsible for managing graphic design projects, monitoring team performance, and ensuring that projects remain on track while meeting the required quality and service standards of both internal and external clients.

The role works closely with the Graphic Design Manager and cross-functional teams to coordinate creative requirements, review artwork, address operational concerns, and support the continuous improvement of prepress operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend client briefings and gather project requirements and relevant data.
• Conduct creative briefs with team members to discuss client requirements and coordinate activities.
• Review and approve artwork developed by the CGA team.
• Monitor and track the individual performance of team members.
• Stay updated on the latest prepress technologies and solutions to improve team efficiency and productivity.
• Assist the Graphic Design Manager in addressing operational concerns and challenges.
• Perform graphic design and develop final artwork when necessary.
• Provide training, coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to team members.
• Promote continuous improvement in customer service and operational processes.
• Motivate and collaborate with team members to achieve department goals.
• Assist in investigating and resolving operational challenges.
• Perform other related functions as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Fine Arts or any computer-related course.
• At least 5 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in a printing or advertising firm.
• Strong proficiency in computer graphic design applications and prepress processes.
• Knowledge of production concepts and standards.
• Leadership training or certification is an advantage.
• Strong communication, analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate, coach, and develop team members.
• Strong sense of accountability, dependability, and commitment to quality.
