Presales Consultant Intern

We have been in the enterprise ATS space for 10 years. Some of the best companies in the country run their hiring on MyNextHire. As the market shifts to AI-first hiring, our sales team needs strong presales support to help clients see what the product can do for them and to build the relationships that turn evaluation conversations into long-term partnerships.

This is a 3–6 month internship for someone fresh out of (or finishing) an MBA who wants to learn enterprise SaaS from the front lines. For the right person it can lead to a full-time Presales Consultant role — something we'd talk through toward the end of the internship. We'd rather get to know each other on live deals than decide from a rsum.

What you need to achieve

Support the sales team across the enterprise deals in flight during your internship — sitting in on demos, helping gather requirements, and becoming a reliable second pair of hands in client conversations. Success isn't a deal count you own; it's whether the team trusts you in the room by the end.

How the best people get there

• Treat every demo you sit in on as a discovery conversation — listen to the client's problem before anyone shows a solution — to learn your customer, their process, and their pain points
• Learn to summarise the problem back to the client and lay out more than one solution with clear pros and cons — so the client feels heard and cared for
• Respond to every email and call promptly, and log every interaction without being reminded — to build trust
• Use the trust earned and care shown to help form relationships that outlast the internship — so clients think of MyNextHire when they have a new problem
• Contribute in a small way to solving existing clients' problems — so your experience is rich and grounded
