Your Impact

The Senior Sales Engineer is the most senior technical pre-sales resource in our global team and the standard-setter for how pre-sales is executed at RMS. You will own the most complex, high-value opportunities while actively elevating the capability of the Sales Engineer function around you. This is a role for someone who is equally at home closing a technically rigorous deal and coaching a colleague through their next one.

What you'll be doing

• Leading technical pre-sales on the most complex and strategically significant opportunities, partnering with senior sales stakeholders to deliver demos that set the bar for the team
• Preparing solution architectures aligned to customer needs, integrations, and scalability requirements
• Owning the RFP and tender response process for high-priority submissions, including the content library strategy and quality standards across all SE work
• Serving as the team's deepest technical resource on the RMS product suite, integrations, and the broader hospitality tech ecosystem
• Mentoring and coaching Sales Engineers through deal reviews, structured feedback, and capability development
• Embedding AI-first practices across pre-sales workflows to accelerate output quality and team efficiency
• Partnering with Product and Engineering to feed market insight into the roadmap

What you'll bring

• Significant experience in a senior or lead pre-sales, sales engineering, or solutions consulting role within SaaS or technology
• Proven ability to deliver complex, high-stakes demos and technical proposals, and lead others in doing the same
• Experience building or improving pre-sales processes, tools, or content libraries
• Strong technical understanding of SaaS products, APIs, integrations, and cloud architecture
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, equally effective with technical and executive audiences
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to produce faster, higher-quality pre-sales outputs

Desirable: background in hospitality technology or property management systems, familiarity with PCI DSS or GDPR requirements, and experience in a globally distributed team.
