Presales Engineer (Electronics)

Role & responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and suggest suitable products/solutions.
• Support the sales team in technical discussions with customers.
• Prepare quotations, technical proposals and BOMs.
• Select suitable automation and instrumentation products.
• Understand and explain products to customers.
• Prepare technical presentations and product demonstrations.
• Coordinate with customers, sales team, vendors and internal teams.
• Check customer RFQs, technical specifications and requirements.
• Support the sales team in converting enquiries into orders.
• Keep updated with new automation and instrumentation products.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of PLC, SCADA, HMI, sensors, transmitters, control valves, VFD, etc.
• Ability to understand technical drawings, datasheets and specifications.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Good customer handling and coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings/site visits.

Preferred candidate profile

1-5 years of experience in:
