Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive, tech-savvy IT Business Development Executive (Technical BDE) to drive revenue growth across our custom web development, mobile application, e-commerce, and software solutions. In this hybrid role, you will lead end-to-end client acquisition—from prospecting and technical discovery calls to drafting functional Scope of Work (SOW) documents and closing contracts. You will act as the vital bridge between client business goals and our technical development team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospecting & Lead Conversion: Identify, reach out to, and engage potential B2B clients, startups, and enterprises seeking custom web platforms, mobile apps, SaaS, and digital solutions.
• Technical Discovery & Requirement Gathering: Lead consultative discovery sessions with prospective clients to understand their business models, user journeys, functional needs, and system constraints.
• Scope Definition & Solution Architecture: Translate high-level client ideas into structured feature lists, basic user flows/wireframes, and detailed Scope of Work (SOW) documents to prevent post-sale scope creep.
• Proposal Pitching & Deal Closing: Collaborate with internal development leads to prepare accurate effort estimates, project timelines, and commercial proposals; present solutions to key decision-makers and negotiate contracts to closure.
• Internal Handoff & Project Briefing: Conduct thorough project kick-off handoffs to UI/UX designers and full-stack developers, ensuring the technical team has clear, documented requirements.
• Pipeline & CRM Discipline: Maintain accurate records of client communications, meeting notes, proposals, and pipeline stages in the company CRM.
• Account Expansion: Build long-term relationships with existing clients to identify future development phases, feature enhancements, and technical support retainers.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 1–4 years of experience in IT sales, technical business development, or a combined BDE/BA role within an IT services, software development, or digital agency environment.
• Technical Acumen: Strong conceptual understanding of modern web and software stacks (Next.js, Node.js, databases, REST APIs, cloud hosting, and e-commerce platforms) to assess feasibility and talk comfortably with clients.
• Documentation Skills: Ability to write clear, unambiguous project requirements, feature lists, and commercial proposals.
• Commercial Mindset: Demonstrated ability to handle objection handling, negotiate pricing based on value/ROI, and close high-ticket software deals.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Gujarati, and Hindi for professional proposals, emails, and client meetings.
