Presales Solutions Engineer

Position Responsibilities Pre-Sales Engagement

• Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Deliver product presentations, demos, and technical sessions to potential customers.
• Design high-level solutions aligned with customer use cases and business objectives.

Solution Design & Technical Documentation

• Prepare detailed technical proposals, including functional and non-functional requirements.
• Define and document hardware, infrastructure, and deployment requirements for cloud, hybrid, or on-premise environments.
• Create supporting technical documentation such as:

System architecture diagrams

• Network and server specifications
• Integration overviews with CRM, telephony, or third-party tools
• Bill of Materials (BOM) and sizing recommendations

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work with internal teams (product, engineering, implementation) to validate solution

designs and ensure accurate scoping.

• Provide technical input during bids, tenders, and RFP responses.
• Support the handover of signed deals to implementation teams, ensuring clarity on

technical deliverables

Required Competencies Required Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of experience in pre-sales, solution engineering, or a technical role within the call center, telecom, or CX technology space.
• Solid understanding of contact center platforms and technologies (ACD, IVR, call routing, call recording, WFM, omnichannel, etc.).
• Experience with preparing technical proposals, hardware specs, and solution designs.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and on-premise infrastructure concepts.
• Ability to create professional documentation and diagrams (Visio, Lucidchart, etc.).
• Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); other languages are a plus.
• Only Egyptian residents will be considered for this position.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice To Have)

• Exposure to platforms like Genesys, Cisco, Avaya, NICE, Talkdesk, or equivalent.
• Understanding of REST APIs or basic scripting (nice to have).
• Experience with RFP/RFI processes and technical bid responses.
• Understanding of MCP and agent orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex,Haystack, etc.)
