Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare wholesome meals and snacks that meet nutritional guidelines for preschool-aged children
• Supervise food production processes, ensuring all dishes are made fresh, safe, and of high quality
• Manage kitchen operations efficiently, including food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and inventory control
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment adhering to health regulations and safety standards
• Serve meals with enthusiasm, ensuring children are encouraged to try new foods in a positive atmosphere
• Collaborate with educators and caregivers to accommodate special dietary needs or allergies of children

Experience

• Proven supervising experience in a food service or culinary setting, preferably within hospitality or restaurant environments
• Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management with hands-on culinary experience
• Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in sanitation and hygiene
• Experience working with children or in early childhood settings is a plus but not required
• Familiarity with serving nutritious meals in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and quality standards

Pay: £12.75 per hour
