We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Early Years Practitioner Assistant to join our warm and welcoming preschool.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and wants to help create a fun, safe and nurturing environment where every child can learn and thrive.

The Role

As a Practitioner Assistant, you will:

• Support children during play and learning activities.
• Help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment.
• Assist staff in delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS.
• Encourage children's independence, confidence and social skills.
• Support children's care routines, including snack and mealtimes.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Help maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety.
• Follow safeguarding and nursery policies at all times.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Has a genuine passion for working with young children.
• Is caring, patient and enthusiastic.
• Enjoys working as part of a team.
• Has good communication skills.
• Is reliable, flexible and willing to learn.
• Holds a childcare qualification or experience in an early years setting

· Hours: Monday – Wednesday & Friday 10-2 Term time only. This is a fixed term role until July 2027 however there is the possibility that this will be extended.

Pay: From £8,866.50 per year
