What they need
Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible, caring, and capable Preschool Principal to lead and oversee the daily operations of one of our preschool branches.
The Principal will be responsible for managing the branch team, supporting teachers, ensuring quality education and student care, maintaining good relationships with parents, and ensuring the branch operates smoothly according to the organisation's standards.
We currently have two Principal vacancies, with one Principal assigned to each branch.
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Manage Daily Branch Operations
Oversee the daily operations of the assigned preschool branch, ensuring that school activities, classroom routines, staff duties, and other operational matters run smoothly.
2. Lead & Manage Teachers
Lead, guide, and support the teaching team, including staff scheduling, task delegation, performance monitoring, communication, and team development.
3. Ensure Teaching Quality
Monitor the quality of teaching, classroom management, lesson implementation, and children's learning experience to ensure they meet the school's standards.
4. Student Care & Wellbeing
Ensure the safety, wellbeing, discipline, attendance, and overall development of the children are properly managed and monitored.
5. Parent Communication
Build and maintain positive relationships with parents. Handle enquiries, feedback, concerns, and complaints professionally and provide appropriate follow-up when necessary.

7. Administration & Branch Management
Oversee branch-related administrative matters, records, supplies, facilities, cleanliness, safety, and other operational requirements.
8. Team & School Improvement
Identify areas for improvement within the branch and work together with teachers and management to improve the quality, efficiency, and overall performance of the school.
Teaching / Classroom Support
Teaching is not the main responsibility of the Principal. However, the Principal is expected to provide classroom support when necessary, particularly when a teacher is on leave, unwell, unavailable due to an emergency, or when there is a temporary staff shortage.
The Principal should therefore be comfortable interacting with children and stepping into the classroom when required.
