Preschool Teacher

Little Explorers Academy is a brand new center. We are seeking passionate and dedicated Preschool Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in childhood development and experience working with children in various settings, including preschool, and daycare. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
• Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment for all children, including those with disabilities.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement and appropriate discipline techniques.
• Engage with children through play, educational activities, and hands-on experiences to encourage learning.
• Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive learning experience for students.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that promotes exploration and creativity.
• Attend training sessions, workshops, and meetings to enhance professional development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of childhood development principles and best practices in childcare.
• Excellent classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Ability to work effectively with children of varying abilities.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
• A nurturing attitude with a genuine passion for teaching and caregiving.
• Relevant certifications in early childhood education or related fields are a plus.
