Preschool Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the lives of young children by providing them with a nurturing and stimulating environment. Your primary responsibility will be to create and implement age-appropriate curriculum, foster social and emotional development, and ensure the overall well-being of the children in your care.

Duties:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum goals and objectives

• Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students

• Provide individualized attention and support to meet the unique needs of each child

• Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities

• Encourage positive behavior and teach appropriate social skills

• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents or guardians

• Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to create a cohesive learning community

• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments

• Ensure the health and safety of all students at all times

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices

• Excellent classroom management skills to create an organized and structured learning environment

• Experience working with young students in a classroom setting

• Ability to develop age-appropriate curriculum that is engaging and educational

• Knowledge of childcare best practices and regulations

• Proficiency in physical education activities for young children

• Experience working with children with diverse needs, including tutoring or special education experience
