Preschool Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care -Supervise children during playtime, meals, and rest periods
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
• Create a stimulating and engaging learning environment
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians
• Assist with personal hygiene tasks
• Promote positive behavior and discipline techniques
• Collaborate with other childcare providers to ensure a cohesive program

Skills:

• Childcare: Knowledge of best practices in childcare and early childhood development
• Childhood development: Understanding of developmental milestones and age-appropriate activities for children
• Experience working with students: Previous experience working with students in an educational or caregiving setting is preferred
• Caregiving: Ability to provide emotional support and create a nurturing environment for children
• Educate: Ability to facilitate learning through play and educational activities
• Classroom management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain a structured environment
