Press Brake Bending Machine Operator – Job Description (5 Key Responsibilities)

• Operate press brake bending machines to bend, shape, and form sheet metal components as per drawings and production requirements.
• Set up tooling, dies, and machine parameters to ensure accurate bends and dimensional specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, work orders, and technical specifications for production.
• Conduct in-process quality checks using measuring instruments to verify product accuracy and maintain quality standards.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, keep the work area clean and safe, and follow all safety regulations and procedures.

Performance Metric: Achieve production targets while maintaining accuracy, quality standards, and minimizing material wastage and rework.
