Press Brake Operator 1st Shift

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating a press brake machine to bend, form, and shape metal sheets according to blueprints and work orders.

**Duties:**

• Set up and operate press brake machinery to bend, form, and shape metal sheets

• Read and interpret blueprints to determine specifications

• Measure workpiece dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments

• Be a critical thinker and active problem solver

-Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications

• Ability and options to learn other Metal fabrication processes and become cross trained in multiple departments

-Operate Pem and fastener insertion machines

**Skills:**

• Proficiency in blueprint reading

• Experience operating press brake machines

• Ability to use measuring tools like calipers, micrometers and angle finders

• Knowledge of Bending, forming and rolling techniques

• Familiarity with stamping presses metal forming and processing equipment

• Experience operating cranes for material handling
