Title: Press Brake Operator

We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating turret punch press machine to produce metal parts according to specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate press brake machines to produce metal parts
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine specifications
• Determine the sequence of operations required to form the metal parts
• Select, position, and align tooling, dies, and punches
• Adjust machine settings to ensure optimal performance and quality output
• Monitor the production process to detect and correct any issues
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have at least 5 years of experience in operating press brake machines
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Knowledge of different types of tooling, dies, and punches
• Familiarity with machine set-up and maintenance procedures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
