Press Brake Operator

Fab-Tec Machining and Fabrication LLC is a metal fabrication company with over 29 years of experience, seeking a qualified CNC Press Brake setup/operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-years relevant experience working as a CNC Press Brake Operator in a manufacturing environment. Candidates should be mechanically inclined with "hands on" experience in this technical trade.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate press brake for established work.
• Load, install and correctly set up the tools required, adjusting machine parameters to meet specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Complete quality checks on first article and completed parts
• Fill out job traveler, time sheets, inspection documents and any other paperwork associated with part.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of operating/setup CNC Press Brake
• Proficient reading mechanical drawings for machine and tooling setup
• Proficient with precision sheet metal, flat, layouts and bend deductions
• Working knowledge of computers.
• Basic math skills
• Demonstrated effective verbal, written and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast pace work environment to meet team expectations
• Must know how to use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)

Hours: 6:00am-4:30pm (M-Th) Friday OT as needed
