Sizemore Welding, Inc., a metal fabrication company with more than 40 years in business, is seeking an experienced Brake Press Operator to join our team. We are looking for someone dependable who takes pride in producing accurate, quality parts and working safely.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a press brake to bend and form metal parts according to drawings and specifications.
• Select and install appropriate punches and dies.
• Adjust machine settings and bend sequences to achieve required angles and dimensions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, protractors, tape measures, and other measuring tools.
• Identify and correct issues with bend angles, dimensions, and part quality.
• Perform routine machine checks and report maintenance needs.
• Keep the work area organized and follow all safety procedures.
• Assist with other shop duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous press brake setup and operating experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand dimensions, tolerances, and bend requirements.
• Familiarity with different metal types, thicknesses, and tooling.
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently and with a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely handle materials in a fabrication shop.
• CNC press brake programming experience is a plus.

Schedule and Work Environment

• Full-time, on-site position in Bunnell, Florida.
• Workday begins at 6:30 a.m.

Pay

Based on experience and qualifications.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
