We are now seeking to recruit an additional experienced Brake Press Programmer/Setter to join our Shopfloor Team

Press Brake Programmer/ Setter /Operator
Job Description

You will be responsible for Programming Press Brakes along with setting and operating,

Experience

• Previous experience of programming- We use Trumpf and Amada press brakes
• At least 5 years of Manufacturing/Production experience in a sheet metal engineering environment.
• Familiarity brake press setting/operating and the associated tooling
• A detailed knowledge of bend allowances and forming sheet metal.

Responsibilities

• Programming and setting our brake presses to run production orders
• Look to reduce time in set ups and running times.
• Identify tools and techniques to achieve individual jobs.
• Help train and mentor production staff in brake Press Operating

Requirements

• Must be able to read and interpret engineer’s drawings and specifications.
• Essential – Must be familiar with Programming and have an in-depth knowledge of brake press tooling
• A good understanding of fabrication, metal forming etc
• Great communicational skills.
• Essential – Must be Personable and a good Team Player

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: £15.00-£18.00 per hour
