Press Brake Setter/Operator

We are recruiting for a CNC Press Brake Operator to join our team at Stevenage Sheet Metal. We are ideally looking for someone with experience with setting and operating Trumpf Press brakes, albeit we will consider people with experience on other CNC press brake types

As a Press Brake Operator, you will ideally have the following qualities & experience:

• Minimum 2 years Experience running & setting a Press Brake
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work off your own initiative
• Working with a variety of materials Predominantly Stainless and Aluminium
• Reading & working to engineering drawings
• Running large runs & small runs
• Checking own work against customer's drawings

Core Working hours: 8.00am – 16.30 Monday -Friday.

40 hour work week. Overtime available as and when business needs require it.

The rate of pay will be £18.00-£20.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
