Job Overview

We need an experienced Press Brake Setup / Operator to take ownership of our press brake work. You will set up and run mechanical and CNC press brakes, program new jobs, and help keep our bending department efficient and consistent.

This is a senior role. You should be able to run a job from print to finished part with little supervision.

What You'll Do

• Set up and run CNC and mechanical press brakes
• Read prints and decide bend sequence, tooling, and setup
• Program parts at the machine or offline
• Pick and set tooling for each job, including gooseneck, acute, hemming, and special tooling
• Hold tight tolerances and solve problems like springback, bend deduction, and part clearance
• Inspect first articles and finished parts
• Keep tooling and machines in good shape, with routine maintenance
• Help train and guide newer operators
• Work with the team and shop managers to meet delivery dates

What You Bring

• 5+ years of press brake setup and operation (adjust to fit)
• Strong print reading skills, including GD&T basics
• Solid sheet metal knowledge across mild steel, stainless, aluminum, and copper
• Hands-on CNC press brake programming
• Strong mechanical skills for tooling selection and setup
• Good use of calipers, micrometers, angle gauges, and other measuring tools
• Reliable, detail-focused, and able to work independently

Nice to Have

• Experience with offline programming software
• Experience with panel benders or other forming equipment
• Experience training or leading others

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
