Press Brake Setup/Operator

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Skilled Press Brake Operator, where your expertise will shape precision sheet metal components used across various industries. In this energetic role, you will operate and set up press brake machines to bend and form metal sheets with accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and monitor press brake machines to produce precise bends on sheet metal according to detailed blueprints and technical drawings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical specifications, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and quality of finished parts.
• Collaborate with team members on fabrication tasks involving tooling setup, sheet metal handling with forklifts or cranes, and assembly processes.
• Conduct quality inspections throughout production using precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet specifications.

Experience

• 2-5 years of proven experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T standards, mechanical principles, and basic math skills necessary for precise measurements.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, tooling setup, welding techniques, fabrication methods, and assembly is preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely; certification is a plus but not mandatory.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
