Press Design Engineer - Mechanical

Experience : 5-10 Years
Location : Yamunanagar, Haryana
Education : B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering)

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong teamwork skills.
• Independently design state-of-the-art mechanical presses.
• Perform hand calculations, Excel-based calculations, and programming calculations related to the strength of materials and machine design.
• Select purchased components based on technical specifications and product catalogs.
• Interact with the project department for any required clarifications and with customers during the drawing approval stage.
• Participate in troubleshooting, failure analysis, and ensuring design robustness.

Qualification & Skills

• Extensive experience in machine design and strength of materials, including the design of shafts, flywheels, bearings, gears, and structures.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel.
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks, with the ability to create preliminary layouts.
• Knowledge in Fabrication Drawing, Machining Drawing, and Heat Treatments is an advantage.
• Proficient in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
