Press Material Handler

• Perform and document daily pre-operational inspections of forklifts and material handling equipment
• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to support press operations and production flow
• Restock presses with required materials and arrange plated stampings in designated storage areas
• Remove stamped parts from presses and transport finished goods to staging or shipping areas
• Organize, return, and maintain bins, racks, and material storage locations
• Ensure lift truck maintenance, servicing, and reporting requirements are met in accordance with company standards
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and organized work area to support a safe manufacturing environment
• Communicate regularly with supervisors and production teams to identify and resolve material flow or equipment issues
• Operate barcode scanning systems and print labels accurately and efficiently
• Follow all workplace health and safety guidelines, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and quality standards
• Provide general administrative and secretarial support to management as assigned.
• Support and practice KAIZEN principles and participate in related activities (GEAR).

Requirements

• Hold a valid propane forklift certification with proven experience operating a counterbalance lift truck
• Experience operating overhead cranes is required; valid overhead crane certification is considered an asset.
• Demonstrate a minimum of two (2) years of forklift or material handling experience (preferred)
• Demonstrate basic math skills for counting, inventory handling, and material verification
• Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production setting

This job posting is for an existing vacancy. The total cash compensation range for this position is expected to be:

$21.14 - $34.09
