Die-Max is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate stamping presses used to produce precision steel components for the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to maintain quality standards while meeting production targets.

Press Operators play a critical role in maintaining efficient production and ensuring that stamped parts meet strict automotive quality requirements. This position requires mechanical awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Duties

• Operate mechanical or hydraulic stamping presses to produce steel components for automotive applications
• Load raw steel materials into the press and remove finished stamped parts
• Monitor press operation to ensure consistent production and proper machine performance
• Perform routine quality inspections using measuring tools to verify part specifications
• Identify and report defects, equipment issues, or abnormal machine behavior
• Maintain proper documentation of production counts and quality checks
• Follow established safety procedures and lockout/tagout requirements when necessary
• Assist with die changes, press setup, and minor adjustments when required
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S and safety standards
• Work closely with supervisors, quality personnel, and maintenance teams to maintain production efficiency

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment or stamping presses preferred
• Experience in the automotive manufacturing or metal stamping industry is an asset
• Ability to read basic production instructions and quality specifications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Pay: From $17.50 per hour
