Press Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain progressive press tools for sheet metal components.
• Set up press machines, adjust parameters, and ensure smooth production runs.
• Conduct tool changeovers, alignments, and minor troubleshooting.
• Perform in-process inspection to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
• Support preventive maintenance activities for press tools and machines.
• Collaborate with quality and production teams to meet daily targets.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Hands-on experience in progressive tool operation (15 years).
• Knowledge of press machine setup, tool alignment, and safety practices.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Dial Gauge).
• Basic understanding of tool maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Qualification

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Tool & Die, or related field.
• Candidates with progressive tool press shop experience preferred.

• Salary Range: 20,000 30,000 per month
