Description With locations in North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota, Forum Communications Printing addresses commercial printing and mailing needs with our high-quality print and mail solutions. Services include magazine, catalog, book, and tradeshow printing, brochures, direct mailers, postcards, variable data printing, statements, glossy inserts, annual reports, fulfillment, first class mail pick-up, and print & digital publications. Forum Communications Printing is part of Forum Communications Company, a 5th-generation, family-owned, Upper Midwest media company.

Essential Functions

• Assist with equipment set-up and routine maintenance.
• Operate forklift and pallet jacks.
• Maintain levels of ink, paper, and plates.
• Quality control.
• Responsible for general maintenance and housekeeping of the press.
• Abide by all OSHA regulations and other established company safety policies.
• Maintain prompt and reliable attendance.

Non-Essential Duties And Functions

• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and short correspondence.

• Prolonged periods of walking, standing, lifting, handling and moving items.
• Ability to stoop, bend, push and pull items.
• Requires full use of hands, arms, finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Occasionally required to lift and /or move up to 50 lbs.
• Physically able to operate machinery.
• Frequent exposure to vibration, fumes or airborne particles, and risk of electrical shock.
• Works in a printing plant environment. Work with moving machinery and hazardous materials such as inks and solvents. Exposure to loud noises and moving mechanical parts.

Expected compensation for this role is $18/hr.
