Pressroom Operator

We are currently seeking a skilled Press Operator to join the production staff at a premier printing and packaging manufacturer known for delivering superior printed goods.

In this position, you will take a direct, active role in the configuration, operation, and upkeep of printing machinery, ensuring that every output aligns with our rigorous quality benchmarks and client requirements.

Core Duties

• Configure and manage printing press operations in alignment with established production timelines and specific project needs.
• Oversee active print cycles, making necessary refinements to guarantee that color accuracy, registration, and overall quality remain consistent.
• Resolve mechanical or printing-related complications to help reduce operational downtime.
• Execute standard upkeep, sanitation, and calibration tasks for all press hardware.
• Analyze and comprehend detailed work orders, manufacturing requirements, and project directives.
• Review completed items for quality and document production data to ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Work alongside fellow production staff to streamline workflows and achieve output goals.
• Uphold a secure and organized workspace by strictly adhering to all established safety protocols.

Professional Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of hands-on experience working with printing presses.
• Comprehensive understanding of the setup, functional operation, and routine maintenance of printing equipment.
• Proven ability to identify and correct mechanical failures and quality defects.
• Capable of interpreting complex production specifications and job-related documentation.
• Proficient in utilizing precision measuring instruments to confirm that print quality and alignment meet standards.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and a meticulous eye for detail.
• Self-motivated professional capable of thriving in a high-speed manufacturing setting.
• Completion of a High School diploma or equivalent GED.
