Pressure Washing Technician

Tiger Pressure Wash is a locally owned exterior cleaning company based in Baton Rouge, LA, serving residential and commercial customers since 2012. Services include house washing, roof cleaning, concrete cleaning, and gutter cleaning throughout the Baton Rouge, Denham Springs, Walker, Prairieville, and Gonzales areas.

We are hiring a part-time Pressure Washing Technician for as-needed work. This is an entry-level position with paid training. There is plenty of opportunity for advancement for candidates who learn the work and prove they can take on more responsibility.

Please note: This is not a full-time position and hours are not guaranteed. Work is scheduled based on booked jobs. Some weeks may include 4 to 5 days of work, other weeks 1 to 2 days. This position is a strong fit for firefighters, shift workers, and other candidates seeking supplemental income on their days off while learning a trade.

Job Summary

The Pressure Washing Technician assists with exterior cleaning services at residential and commercial properties, learns proper soft wash and pressure washing methods, and supports the completion of each job to company standards for quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Starting out, this position assists the Lead Technician. Duties include: set up and break down job sites, move hoses and ladders and keep them positioned as needed during the job, protect landscaping/property/customer belongings before cleaning begins, clean concrete surfaces using a surface cleaner as trained, rinse completed areas and help inspect work before and after service, keep equipment and work areas clean and organized, represent the company professionally while working on customer properties, including courteous, customer service oriented behavior with homeowners and customers at all times, communicate professionally with customers and team members, follow safety procedures and company standards on every job.

How Advancement Works: Advancement is based on skill and responsibility, and it happens in stages. New technicians start by assisting the Lead Technician with setup, breakdown, hoses, ladders, and concrete cleaning. From there, technicians advance to assisting with house washing, then to performing house washing on their own. Roof cleaning is advanced work that comes later, after a technician has proven their skills on the earlier stages.

Qualifications

• No experience required. Training is provided.

• Valid driver's license (Required)

• Reliable transportation and the ability to arrive at job sites on time as scheduled

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in Louisiana heat, including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, handling hoses, and climbing ladders

• Comfortable working outdoors and at heights on ladders

• Dependable, teachable, and detail-oriented

• Customer service oriented, with a professional and courteous manner when working at customer homes and businesses

• Takes pride in quality work and a professional appearance

Pay and Advancement

Starting pay $20.00 per hour. Daily minimum $150 for each day worked when called in. Advancement: There is plenty of advancement available in this role. Technicians who develop their skills and take on greater responsibility can advance to $30.00+ per hour. Lead Technicians running jobs independently can earn up to $32.00+ per hour, plus commission opportunities.
