Preventative Maintenance Engineer | Full-Time

We are in search of a talented and passionate General Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering team! The Preventative Maintenance Engineer will be responsible primarily for overall care and maintenance in guest rooms and other guest-facing areas of the hotel. This role directly impacts the guest experience and can involve interaction with guests and/or internal colleagues and teams; strong interpersonal skills and comfort engaging with others are essential. While this is an entry level position, previous maintenance experience and/or hotel experience is preferred.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Previous General hotel maintenance experience is a plus
• Experience involving painting and tile/wall repair strongly preferred.
• 1-2 years of maintenance experience required
• Strong troubleshooting skills (electricity, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, etc.)
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with guests and team
• Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate amount of weight.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, occasional overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
