Preventative Maintenance Field Service Technician - Second Shift

What You Will Be Doing As a Preventative Maintenance Field Service Technician, you will be performing preventive maintenance on various types of customer/rental machines as per machine guidelines in a safe and timely manner on customer job sites.

Primary Responsibilities

• Drive to customer’s job site daily to complete preventive maintenance.
• Operate heavy equipment to determine deficiency’s or performance issues daily.
• Perform all necessary preventive maintenance work for each specific interval service.
• Complete all work orders, time sheets & inspections from completed services.
• Operate service truck safely and comply with all regulations.
• Must be able to obtain a CDL license if required

Additional Responsibilities

• Participate in required safety program and work in a safe manner.
• Additional duties as assigned by manager.

Who We Are Looking For To be successful in this position you should have a strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of tools applicable to the position and the desire to learn. You should possess a strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service. The ability to take direction and work in a team environment is essential to this position as well.

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent

Required Qualifications/Skills

• Must have a mechanical background with 2 to 3 years of experience with heavy equipment, automotive, or on highway trucks.
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Can work independently with little to no supervision
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include some nights and occasional weekends
• Candidates missing one requirement will still be considered
• Must have a valid Georgia driver license, prefer Class B - CDL

Preferred Qualifications/Skills

• Course work from accredited trade school, college or university with emphasis in mechanics, hydraulics, and automotive electronics is desirable.
