Job Description

1. Prepare for Preventive Maintenance Visits

• Review the relevant product/module PM handbook and maintenance checklist.
• Confirm which checks apply to the customer’s system, deployment, and network topology.

2. Perform On-site Preventive Maintenance

• Perform required checks using the specified GUI procedures or CLI commands.
• Record system readings and compare results against documented expected values and pass/fail criteria.
• Mark checks as N/A when pre-check results confirm they are not applicable.

3. Work Safely in Production Environments

• Perform read-only VERIFY/OBSERVE checks only.
• Do not make configuration changes or perform failover/restore testing during preventive maintenance activities.

4. Investigate and Document Findings

• Follow documented investigation procedures when a check fails.
• Collect required logs and technical-support files.
• Record findings clearly without making changes to the production environment.

5. Communicate with Internal Teams and Customers

• Prepare clear technical notes for the engineering team.
• Explain findings, recommendations, and potential business or risk impacts to customers for acknowledgement or sign-off.

6. Escalate Issues Appropriately

• Escalate issues to vendor support (TAC) or the customer’s implementation team when remediation is outside the Preventive Maintenance scope.

7. Prepare PM Reports

• Produce preventive-maintenance reports in the required format (HTML/PDF).
• Review the findings and recommendations with customers.

8. Support Knowledge-Base Improvement

• Identify inaccurate or outdated checklist items and provide supporting evidence, such as screenshots, for ITSM review.

9. Perform Off-site Technical Research

• Review vendor advisories and CVEs.
• Cross-reference identified issues against the customer’s product and software versions before or after site visits.

Job Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Networking, or a related field.
• Experience: 0–2 years of relevant experience. New graduates are welcome. Internship, laboratory, project, or coursework experience will also be considered.
• English Skills: Able to read technical procedures and vendor documentation in English and write clear technical notes. Able to communicate with customers in Thai.
• Linux & Windows: Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows environments, including command-line navigation, service and log checking, Windows Event Viewer, SSH, and vendor status commands.
• Networking Fundamentals: Basic understanding of TCP/IP, routing, network interfaces, VPN, and High Availability (Active-Passive / Active-Active).
• Technical Writing: Able to prepare clear, structured, and easy-to-understand technical checklists and reports.
• Travel & Working Hours: Willing to travel to customer sites and work during scheduled maintenance windows, which may occasionally be outside normal business hours.
