Preventive Maintenance Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Routine Inspections: Check structural components of telecom towers, antennas, feeder cables, and grounding systems for wear or weather damage.
• Power & Energy Checks: Inspect backup generators, battery banks, rectifiers, and HVAC cooling units at remote site shelters.
• Equipment Diagnostics: Run diagnostic tests on routers, switches, and radio frequency (RF) modules to catch minor performance drops early.
• Cleaning & Servicing: Clear dust and debris from filters, tighten loose electrical connections, and lubricate mechanical parts.
• Documentation: Log all inspection results, parts replaced, and metric readings into a centralized maintenance tracking system.

• Objective: Protect network uptime, extend equipment life, and reduce emergency field repairs.
