Preventive Maintenance Technician

Position Summary

We are looking for a motivated Preventive Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. This is a hands-on learning position for someone who wants to develop their skills in industrial maintenance while helping keep production equipment safe, reliable, and properly maintained.The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, dependable, willing to learn, and interested in building a career in industrial maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Inspect equipment for wear, damage, leaks, loose components, and other potential issues.
• Assist with maintaining equipment such as welders, plasma tables, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems .
• Perform basic lubrication, adjustments, cleaning, and replacement of worn components.
• Assist experienced maintenance technicians with equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
• Learn how to identify mechanical and electrical equipment problems.
• Learn to read and understand electrical wiring schematics, mechanical drawings, and other technical documentation .
• Use hand tools, power tools, and basic testing equipment safely.
• Document preventive maintenance work and equipment issues.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Follow all company safety procedures and safe work practices.
• Communicate equipment concerns to maintenance and production personnel.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
• Interest in industrial maintenance, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Basic experience with hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
• Dependable and willing to work as part of a team.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Previous maintenance or industrial experience is helpful but not required .
