Pricing Administrator

If you have a keen eye for pricing and a good ability to analyse the eBay Marketplace this might be the job for you! If you have fast typing skills, attention to detail and ability to work a desktop computer, we want to hear from you. A knowledge of car parts is not essential, but would aid in speeding up the training process.

At SCB, we have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our office pricing team! We are looking for someone who has an interest in working a office environment (we do not offer a work from home position- this is a full time post at our Edinburgh, Newbridge site). You will be pricing recycled dismantled vehicle parts to be listed on eBay.

The job is completely office based and you will be sat at your own desk/computer all day. As a member of our pricing team you will be tasked with keeping up with the flow of pricing parts on a daily basis.

Hours

• Full time hours: 8:00-17:00 (Monday-Friday).
• 40-hour week.
• 15-minute morning break and 45-minute lunch.
• Overtime hours available once at the desired standard.

Responsibilities

• Using ebay's active/sold listings & in-house tooling to determine the price of our used vehicle parts.
• Determining a competitive price for our stock of used parts allowing for the maximisation of profit potential.
• Working through a report of freshly removed car parts in an efficient manner whilst also taking care not to over/under price.
• Pricing a range of parts from engines and gearboxes to wing mirrors and headlights.

Essential Skills

• Competent in using computers.
• Self-motivated and driven, but also a team player.
• Able to type at a fast rate.

Beneficial Skills

• A knowledge of eBay and how to interpret active/sold listings.
• A knowledge of cars/car parts.

About Company

As a family run business, SCB Car Parts is one of the biggest vehicle dismantlers in the UK and one of the fastest growing. Our business is split into two areas; the selling of salvageable/repairable vehicles on our auction site and the dismantling/selling of used parts.

We have a fleet of recovery trucks and lorries that operate across the country, uplifting and delivering vehicles.

Our operations are conducted at two different sites, each with around 2000 vehicles. Our site in Addiewell processes all the incoming vehicles and prepares the appropriate vehicles for auction.

Our site in Newbridge processes all the vehicles for dismantling. From here we depollute, dismantle, and scrap all of our breakers.

We are based in Newbridge, Edinburgh (Not Wales).

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: From £13.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
