Air & Ocean Logistics – International Freight Forwarding

Our Freight Forwarding client headquartered in Canada are seeking an experienced Pricing Analyst & Overseas Commercial Support professional to support international air and ocean freight pricing activities across global trade lanes.

Based out of China or the Philippines, this role will focus on securing competitive freight rates, coordinating with carriers and international agents, supporting quotation activities, and maintaining strong relationships with logistics partners and service providers in the region.

Working closely with the Canadian office and Commercial team, the successful candidate will assist with pricing analysis, routing solutions, procurement support, and timely forwarding of quotations for import and export opportunities.

To maintain communication overlap with the Toronto office, candidates must be available to begin work at approximately 8:00 a.m. local time in their country.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage air and ocean freight pricing for international import and export shipments
• Secure competitive freight rates from carriers, co-loaders, overseas agents, truckers, and logistics providers
• Support the Sales team by developing accurate and commercially competitive quotations
• Analyze routing options, transit times, carrier performance, and cost structures
• Coordinate pricing requests and operational follow-ups with international agents and transportation providers
• Forward quotations and pricing updates to the Canadian office within required timelines
• Assist with procurement and negotiation of logistics services across multiple trade lanes
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with overseas partners, clients, carriers, and service providers
• Maintain and update internal pricing records, rate sheets, and commercial databases
• Support inside sales activities and customer pricing enquiries where required
• Work closely with internal departments to meet commercial deadlines and service expectations
• Escalate operational, pricing, or service concerns that may impact shipment execution or profitability

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in international freight forwarding
• Hands-on experience in both air and ocean freight pricing
• Strong understanding of international logistics, Incoterms, and freight pricing structures
• Experience coordinating with international agents, carriers, and logistics providers
• Strong communication, organizational, and negotiation skills
• Commercial mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in pricing, procurement, sales support, or freight forwarding operations is considered an asset
