Pricing Analyst

About the role

As a Pricing Analyst, you will be a key contributor to the sales pipeline and revenue growth through lead qualification and procurement strategy. You will work closely with regional trade management and shipping lines to enhance our competitive market position and develop stronger carrier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate FAKs and tier rates with shipping lines to enhance competitive market positioning
• Work closely with regional trade management to enhance procurement product offerings
• Develop and maintain stronger relationships with shipping lines (carriers) to establish procurement statistics for commercial purposes
• Identify trade lane market trends and carrier service advantages (rate, routes, service) to ensure selling strategy is aligned correctly
• Monitor performance with carriers to ensure compliance with minimum quantity commitments (MQC) and agreements
• Communicate with overseas offices of the group to conduct fixture shipments with third-party inquiries
• Manage procurement rate product templates for accuracy and timely updates to support the sales team
• Collect and analyze trade lane trends and situations, and summarize strategies and opinions for top management and sales teams

About you

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
• 1+ years of working experience in the carriers, freight forwarding, or logistics industry (pricing/procurement experience is a first priority)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adaptability, and eagerness to learn
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, influencing, and decision-making abilities
• Willing to take on challenges and multiple tasks and able to work under pressure
• Computer literate in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in English; fluency in Chinese is a first priority consideration
• Personable, willing to ask questions, always learning, with strong work ethic and coachability
• Confident in abilities, not afraid to take creative risks, and enjoy daily interactions in a sales role
