Pricing Coordinator - Freight Forwarding

Qualifications

• Related work experience in Freight Forwarding industry.

• Experience across any freight type including air, sea, road, or multi-modal services is acceptable.

• Minimum 1-2 years of freight forwarding experience required.

• Previous experience in entering freight rates into Cargo Wise is a must.

• Excellent communication and customer-centric skills.

• Exceptional attention to details with proven ability to identify and prevent errors.

• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with spreadsheets and data validation.

• Minimum 1-2 years of CargoWise One experience required.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Pricing Accuracy & Data Management

• Input, maintain, and update accurate rates in CargoWise
• Ensure all rate entries meet internal standards and maintain a pricing accuracy rate of at least 98%.
• Regularly audit and review pricing data for accuracy and make timely adjustments in response to market fluctuations.
• Manage rate sheets & customer proposals ensuring rate validity and documentation is up to date.

Market Monitoring & Strategic Support

• Monitor market rates, competitor pricing, and industry trends to provide timely, actionable insights to the Pricing & Procurement Manager.
• Support the development of competitive pricing strategies that align with business objectives.
• Assist in preparing data for pricing-related decision-making, including reporting on profitability by service, route, and customer segment.

Customer Support & Internal Collaboration

• Respond to internal and external pricing requests within 24 hours to ensure timely, accurate support.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams to ensure rate requests are processed smoothly and align with customer needs.
• Resolve pricing queries professionally and promptly to reduce pricing- related issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Communicate pricing changes, rate adjustments, and relevant updates to stakeholders clearly and consistently.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Generate and maintain monthly reports on pricing trends, customer pricing behaviour, and cost structures.
• Provide data-driven insights to support strategic pricing reviews and planning sessions.
• Continuously identify and implement improvements to pricing workflows, within CargoWise and related systems.
• Support system integrations that improve pricing accuracy and reduce manual effort.
• Participate in relevant pricing and system training to stay aligned with best practices and technological updates.
