Pricing Executive

Role & responsibilities

1.Receive and acknowledge enquiries from both local and overseas customers.

2. Engage with customers to obtain necessary details and clarifications related to their enquiries.

Consult with Department Head for expert advice where needed.

3. Obtain competitive rates from overseas agents based on customer requirements.

4. Review charges received from agents and ensure the best possible rates are quoted to customers.

Negotiate with agents when necessary to achieve competitiveness.

5. Analyze market trends and competitor pricing regularly to maintain competitiveness.

6. Ensure strict adherence to company pricing strategies, cost structures, and margin guidelines.

7. Prepare accurate and timely quotations for customers.

8. Submit charges to customers through the companys ERP system (EBMS) and ensure all records

are properly maintained.

9. Proactively follow up with customers to obtain feedback on submitted quotations.

10. Pass information to the Sales PIC when customer enquiries reduce significantly or stop.

11. Once a job is confirmed, coordinate with the Customer Service team for operational execution.

12. Notify the Department Head immediately upon receiving any sensitive, high-volume, or strategic

shipment enquiries.

13. Conduct regular research to engage new agents or vendors to enhance competitiveness.

14. Actively participate in team meetings with the Department Head to share updates and discuss

progress
