Pricing Executive

Job purpose

The primary responsibility is to manage the cost to strengthen our cost monitoring, pricing control, and coordination between the Purchase and Sales teams

Duties and responsibilities

• Verifying purchase costs and ensuring the accuracy of supplier pricing.
• Setting and verifying appropriate profit margins for products.
• Coordinating with the Purchase and Sales teams regarding product costs and selling prices.
• Maintaining accurate and updated product cost data.
• Verifying Purchase Orders and supplier purchase invoices against agreed prices and terms.
• Reviewing and verifying sales invoices to ensure the correct selling prices and margins are applied.
• Comparing current purchase prices with previous prices and identifying significant price variations.
• Monitoring and implementing price revisions based on changes in purchase costs and market conditions.
• Ensuring that approved pricing and margin policies are properly followed. Identifying cost discrepancies and coordinating with the relevant teams for timely correction.
• Preparing regular cost and margin reports for management review.
• Maintaining proper documentation and records of cost and price changes

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing Commerce (minimum).
• MBA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant role
• Experience in automotive spare parts, trading or multi-branch retail distribution preferred.

Skills

• Relevant experience in cost control, pricing, inventory, procurement and finance.
• Strong analytical skills and good knowledge of Excel/ERP systems.
• Experience in the automotive spare parts or trading industry would be an added advantage

Working conditions

• 6 days a week.
• Full-time, permanent position at Chalakudy, Kerala.
• Standard working hours in the trading industry, with extended hours during month-end, target closing and branch launch periods.
• Handles confidential pricing and margin information

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
