Pricing Executive

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced pricing professional to handle pricing for our Mumbai branch across air, sea, and surface freight forwarding. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in freight pricing, carrier/vendor rate negotiation, and margin management, along with deep knowledge of the freight forwarding, logistics, and supply chain industry.

Key Responsibilities

Pricing & Quotations

• Handle end-to-end pricing for import/export shipments across trade lanes (Air/Ocean/Surface — FCL, LCL, Air freight) for the Mumbai branch
• Prepare and manage quotations and provide competitive, profitable rates to the internal team in a timely manner
• Build and maintain rate sheets, tariffs, and pricing databases for key trade lanes
• Monitor market trends, competitor rates, and freight rate movements to keep pricing competitive

Carrier & Vendor Rate Management

• Negotiate and finalize rates and surcharges with carriers and vendors (shipping lines, airlines, consolidators, transporters)
• Maintain annual/spot rate contracts and ensure rates are renewed and updated on time
• Develop strong relationships with carriers, overseas agents, and vendors to secure better rates and space/allocation

Margin Analysis & Reporting

• Monitor and analyze margins and profitability by trade lane, carrier, and account; flag issues and recommend corrective action where required
• Ensure pricing protects margins while remaining competitive
• Prepare MIS reports and rate analysis for management

Required Skills & Experience

• 4-10 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, and supply chain industry
• Proven experience in freight pricing and rate negotiation for air, ocean, and/or surface freight forwarding
• Strong knowledge of Air, Ocean (FCL/LCL), and Surface freight rates, surcharges, and trade lanes
• Strong existing network with carriers, airlines, consolidators, and overseas agents
• Working knowledge of INCOTERMS and shipping documentation (BL, AWB, etc.)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess margins and profitability

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹33,000.00 per month
